Daily Physical Exercise
30 minutes of exercise daily for 5-6 days a week reduces risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and stroke. Keeping your body active makes your muscles, bones and joints strong and healthy.

Healthy Diet
Dominate your daily diet with fruits, green leafy vegetables, meat, poultry food, and seafood. Your diet should be high in protein, fibers, vitamins, minerals, and low in carbohydrates and calories.

Eat Breakfast Daily
Doesn't stop at being the most important meal of the day, but energizes you and kickstarts your day with normal metabolism and healthy functioning of body systems.

Drink Plenty of Water
Every cell, tissue and organ in our bodies needs water to function properly. Water is also a major ingredient in most of the body processess and chemical reactions. 2 Litres a day is a good start.

Have plenty of sleep
Nearly every body system depends on sleep to recover, reset and function normally. At least 8 hours of sleep every after 24 hours is recommended, ensuring the highest quality during each episode.

Stop Smoking
The most common contributor & risk factor to cardiovascular disease, cancer, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and stroke has been known to be nicotine smoking. Avoid at all costs.

Reduce/Manage Stress
Scientific research has proven stress to be a significant risk factor to mental disorders, Peptic Ulcers, Weight Gain, Sleep Disorders, Heart Disease, Cardiovascular disease and stroke. Regular exercise, meditation, listening to music, yoga, brisk walking, swimming etc., are great stress killers.

Minimize Alcohol Consumption
It could be practically impossible to stop alcohol intake all together, but keeping it at a minimum protects you from a litany of health complications and early morbidity plus mortality.

Maintain hygiene & Good Sanitation
Since we were little, it's common practice to keep our bodies and surroundings dirt - and germ - free to reduce outbreak of infectious disease from disease causing germs.

Avoid Sugary Drinks
Soda, Energy Drinks and Juices contain a great deal of sugar that your body doesn't need. This increases your risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, kidney disease and hypertension.

Learn Something New
Keeping your brain busy with new challenges delays onset of Alzheimer's Disease and subsequent overall aging. Learn a new language, attempt to play a musical instrument, participate in active sports, learn how to play chess etc.

Ban Social Media
The birth of social media is the greatest tragedy the 21st Century generation has ever faced. Tiktok, Facebook, SnapChat, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Telegram etc., have topped the list of mental health deteriorators according to recent research.

Go Offline
Scheduling your social media consumption with breaks to be a little more productive, say reading a book, journaling your life goals and new month resolutions, is a great way of improving your way of life and general physical and mental health.

Head Outdoors
A few minutes in the sunshine raises vitamin D levels, and that's good for your bones, your heart, and your mood. Plus, being outside means you're more likely to move your body instead of parking it in front of the TV or computer

Final Thoughts
Eating a healthy breakfast every single day will set the tone for how you feel, and accomplishing things on your to-do list will make you feel like you have a purpose. Drinking more water, getting plenty of sleep and eating more veggies and fruits will also help change your life. Self-care, journaling, staying physically active, positive self-reflection and staying offline can transform your life, too. Go ahead and start doing all of those healthy habits, and watch how quickly your life will turnaround for the better.
